Please note our changed hours over the Christmas/New Year period. We recommend making an early appointment if your pet needs to visit the vet for medications, check ups, or vaccinations. It can take extra time for supplies to come in around the public holidays so ensure you have enough food and prescription medication to last over this time. Preparing your pet for holidays If your pet is staying with a boarding facility or pet sitter, ensure they know your emergency veterinary care preferences. This can include your pets’ regular veterinarian, if they are covered by insurance, a basic budget you’d be happy for them to authorise, or a trusted local contact they can get onto that can act as your pet’s guardian in an emergency situation. If you’re taking your pet with you on holidays, make sure you’re aware of any special hazards or considerations of the area you’re traveling to. Making sure they’re up to date with vaccinations and appropriate parasite protection will help ensure a stress free trip.
